When taking care of Grandma, Fang Xiaoqiao deliberately praised Miss Yu Xiu Bo in front of her, emphasizing how filial and sensible she was. Fang Xiaoqiao persuaded Grandma to keep Yu Xiu Bo in the mansion. Later, Yu Xiu Bo prepared a nourishing dish and brought it to Grandma, which made Grandma like her even more. Yu Xiu Bo admired Li Yuhu's ability to earn the admiration of Qi Tianlei and also wanted to spend her life with the one she loved. She expressed her desire to always accompany Grandma and began to address her as "grandma" from the heart. Grandma didn't know Yu Xiu Bo's intention but was happy to be treated as a granddaughter by her.

Next month is Grandma's big birthday, and Yu Xiu Bo wanted to create a longevity painting for her with Qi Tianlei. Grandma naturally agreed to this. However, Qi Tianlei insisted that he had promised to only have one wife in his life, but Li Yuhu didn't believe him and left, taking the snacks she had brought for Yu Xiu Bo with her. Qi Tianlei hurriedly followed Li Yuhu.

In her delirium, Yu Xiu Bo called out Qi Tianlei's name, which made Li Yuhu even more upset. The nurse taking care of Yu Xiu Bo mentioned that she couldn't eat anything after falling ill. Yu Xiu Bo used Qi Tianlei as an excuse to ask for something to eat and mentioned that she wanted to eat the plum candies Qi Tianlei used to make for her in their childhood.

Qi Tianlei explained that it was not the season for plums now, and Li Yuhu added that she had already picked all the plums from the garden. However, since Yu Xiu Bo was too ill to eat, Li Yuhu asked Qi Tianlei to make plum candies from the plums they had picked and give them to Yu Xiu Bo to stimulate her appetite. Qi Tianlei suspected that Yu Xiu Bo was intentionally trying to create misunderstandings between them, but he believed that her actions were influenced by Ke Shizhao. Qi Tianlei and Li Yuhu decided to play along and make Ke Shizhao think that his plan was working, so he would lower his guard and reveal his true intentions. They pretended to have a heated argument in their room, which was overheard by Fang Xiaoqiao, who rushed to inform Ke Shizhao, believing that their plan had succeeded.
