Princess Chang Ping presented Sha Pingwei with a box of pearls, expressing her anticipation for Sha Pingwei's return to the capital. After bidding farewell to Sha Pingwei, Princess Chang Ping returned to the capital with her attendants. Liu Ruoqian and Shu Xiuyun, after seeing off the princess, decided to rush to Linzhou to assist Qi Tianlei and others.

Upon returning to Linzhou, Liu Ruoqian, along with Laoxuan Shitai, sought help from Master Liu in treating Laoxuan Shitai's ailment. After a thorough examination, Liu Ruoqian promised to help cure Laoxuan Shitai. Qi Tianlei validated Ke Shizhao's poisoning scheme using a white mouse and became convinced that his elder brother had been killed by Ke Shizhao in the same manner. Seeing Qi Tianlei grieving for his elder brother, Li Yuhu comforted him warmly. Now that they had evidence of Ke Shizhao's poisoning, they planned to confront Grandma with the evidence and expose Ke Shizhao's crimes to avenge those who had unjustly died.

Wang Huzi went to Yangzhou to bring the father and brother of the Third Young Mistress to Linzhou. Ke Shizhao instructed Wang Huzi to invite officials from the yamen and decided to reveal Li Yuhu's true identity. Qi Tianlei, accompanied by Li Yuhu, went to see Grandma and informed her that Ke Shizhao had found an ancestral secret formula for him. Qi Tianlei explained that he had discarded the medicine because of its strange taste and had fed a portion of the herbs to a white mouse, which had now died. He revealed that if he hadn't disposed of the medicine, he would have suffered the same fate as the mouse. Li Yuhu observed Qi Tianlei's sorrow over his brother's death and assured him that with the evidence, they would expose Ke Shizhao's crimes to Grandma.

Qi Tianlei instructed Yansheng to bring Laoxuan Shitai before Grandma. Shitai truthfully recounted the grievances of her family to Grandma. Grandma instructed Qi Tianlei to take good care of Shitai and not to let any information leak. Ke Shizhao hurriedly informed Grandma that Mr. Du and Young Master Du from Yangzhou had arrived at the Qi residence. Qi Tianlei, using the excuse of changing clothes, took Li Yuhu back to their room. Concerned about her identity being exposed, Li Yuhu asked for Xiao Xi's help. Xiao Xi suggested that Li Yuhu could faint with joy upon hearing about her father and brother's arrival, and she would go and inform Mr. Du to visit the guesthouse. Qi Tianlei agreed to this plan, stating that he and Xiao Xi would provide cover.

Wang Huzi brought officials from the yamen, asking them to wait outside the living room to catch Li Yuhu off guard. Grandma came to entertain Mr. Du and his son, while Xiao Xi hastily arrived to meet Mr. Du. Seeing Mr. Du's son, Xiao Xi immediately recognized him as the Qi family's Young Mistress, Du Bingyan. Xiao Xi informed everyone that the Young Mistress, upon hearing about her father and brother's arrival, fainted with excitement. Mr. Du hurriedly went to Jichang Xinyuan to visit his daughter.

Du Bingyan arrived at Jichang Xinyuan, declaring that her brother had come to visit her. Li Yuhu, recognizing Du Bingyan's voice, was able to reunite with Mr. Du and his daughter without arousing suspicion from Grandma and Ke Shizhao. The officials outside, witnessing the reunion, accused Wang Huzi of playing tricks and scolded him before leaving.

Having successfully avoided exposure, Li Yuhu was curious about why Mr. Du considered her his daughter. Joyfully, Li Yuhu informed Qi Tianlei that the brother who had come today was indeed the real Du Bingyan. Although they didn't know why Du Bingyan had come from Yangzhou, both were pleased to have successfully concealed their identities. That night, Grandma hosted a feast for the Du family. During the banquet, Li Yuhu learned from Du Bingyan that she had rushed to Linzhou upon hearing about her illness. Ke Shizhao did not hide the fact that Wang Huzi had visited the Du family in Yangzhou but shifted the blame for the illness to Wang Huzi's false statements.

Xiao Xi was delighted to see her young mistress and the two shared their longing for each other. Du Bingyan praised Xiao Xi for her cleverness in not exposing her identity on the day of the wedding. Li Yuhu also complimented Xiao Xi, stating that it was thanks to her presence that she could conceal her identity in the Qi residence. Li Yuhu recounted the events at the Qi residence to Du Bingyan, who openly admitted her feelings for Yuan Buqu. Both were relieved that their forced marriage had led to a happy union.

Ke Shizhao faced another defeat, and in anger, he summoned Wang Huzi to rebuke him. Perplexed, Ke Shizhao wondered why Du Bingyan, a refined young lady, possessed martial skills, speculating that Mr. Du must have secretly allowed his children to learn martial arts.
