To completely solve the epidemic, Senior Brother tried numerous prescriptions, personally testing their effects. He finally found a way to break the epidemic. However, the medicine was poisonous, and three days before the appointment, Senior Brother discovered that he was deeply poisoned and had little time left. Before leaving, Senior Brother handed her half a lotus flower, instructing her to go to the agreed place and tell the girl that he felt ashamed and didn't want her to wait for him. He urged her to find someone else.

Chang Ping took the Queen to an estate outside the city. This estate was where Feng Che had lived. Seeing Feng Che's grave in the yard, the Queen couldn't believe that he had died so early. Li Yuhu presented the Queen with the half-golden lotus flower left by Feng Shibo, explaining that it was returned on behalf of Feng Che. Qi Tianlei also came to the Queen, stating that Feng Che did not break his promise but died due to consuming highly toxic herbs.

Only at this moment did the Queen believe that her lover had died from tasting herbs. She asked if Feng Che left any words. Qi Tianlei, on behalf of his master, told the Queen that Feng Che would rather let her misunderstand him as fickle than learn the truth and die for love. Feng Che had requested to be buried there to fulfill the promise with his beloved.

Knowing the truth, the Queen, though saddened by the separation from her beloved, envied the deep love between Yuan Buqu and Du Bingyan. She finally let go of her grudge, ordered the release of Yuan Buqu and Du Bingyan, and allowed them to choose a good day for their wedding. Yuan Buqu, with Du Bingyan, walked out of prison, making Li Yuhu and others very happy. Qi Tianlei learned that the Queen permitted Yuan Buqu and Du Bingyan to redo their wedding ceremony and planned to hold another wedding for Li Yuhu.

Du Bingyan and Li Yuhu had prayed to the Goddess for a suitable husband, and now both had found their true love. Before the grand wedding, they went to the Goddess to offer thanks. They thanked the Goddess for leading them to the right person and hoped that their future children would have a relationship as good as theirs.

Qi Tianlei and Yuan Buqu were grateful to have met Li Yuhu and Du Bingyan in their lives. They thanked the Goddess for bringing them to their beloved. With the preparations for the grand wedding completed, on the wedding day, Li Yuhu and Du Bingyan appeared in matching wedding attire and red veils. Yuan Buqu and Qi Tianlei couldn't distinguish which was their own wife. Onlookers watched with excitement, and Yuan Buqu and Qi Tianlei were somewhat embarrassed. In the end, Qi Tianlei cleverly used a red cloth to determine that the extraordinary bride was Li Yuhu, and Yuan Buqu recognized the elegant bride next to her as Du Bingyan.
