Mu Ranwu, in order to break free from the Blood Curse of the Lonely Star, returned her spiritual power to Xue Ranran. Xue Ranran transferred the bloodline to Su Yishui and gathered all her spiritual energy to strike Rong Yao. As expected, Rong Yao was defeated. Just as she was about to dissipate, Rong Yao used the last of her breath to reach Shun Tian.

Shun Tian, however, believed that it wasn’t actually Rong Yao but rather the accumulated resentment that had manifested. He crushed it with one forceful squeeze. Xue Ranran then admitted her true identity to Su Yishui. Mu Ranwu, standing nearby, stirred things up, and Su Yishui felt further mocked. He took Xue Ranran to another space, still angry and frustrated. Wei Jiu, along with his group, stormed into the Five Sha Maze, with the rest of the Immortal Gate quickly following behind.

Su Yishui chastised Xue Ranran for deceiving him, but Xue Ranran felt that Su Yishui was being unreasonable. During their argument, they saw Shun Tian's soul passing by, and Xue Ranran speculated that Shun Tian had deliberately lured the Immortal Gate to find the Golden Fire while he sought the Three Thousand World Tower to resurrect his wife and daughter.

Wei Jiu was the first to find the Golden Fire, and just as he was about to collect it, Su Yishui intervened to stop him. The others from the Immortal Gate soon arrived, and Wei Jiu, unwilling to give up the treasure so close at hand, engaged in multiple fights with Su Yishui.

Xue Ranran realized that the corpse of the Demon King had not yet been completely refined, and Tu Jiuyuan, holding a Glass Orb, stood beside the Golden Fire, warning everyone to be cautious. Ye Xin appeared above the hall with the Golden Fire, casting a spell over the Glass Orb. Wei Jiu hurriedly took Tu Jiuyuan away as the formation’s core was resealed.

Tu Jiuyuan handed over the Glass Orb, which had been contaminated by the Golden Fire, fulfilling her promise. Wei Jiu assured her that whatever she requested would be granted. Tu Jiuyuan, blood pouring from her mouth, begged Wei Jiu to let her leave. As the Golden Fire disappeared, the Demon King’s corpse showed signs of resurrection. The Immortal Gate and Mount Wester jointly set up a formation to suppress it.

Su Yishui stepped forward to block the advancing magic but was instead possessed by the demonic energy and completely transformed into a demon. As his appearance changed, the Demon Child drained the Red Abyss's waters, opened the Lingquan passage, and unleashed countless demon beasts. Xue Ranran tried to stop him, but the Demon Child attempted to kill her, only to realize that Su Yishui’s consciousness still lingered within.

After the Demon Child left, Xue Ranran called on the Immortal Gate to help seal the demon beasts. Su Yishui desperately fought the Demon Child, ordering Yu Chen to plant demon vines to extract the Lingquan waters. Suddenly, Su Xiaoxiao appeared and severed the demon vines while recounting the hardships they had endured together. Su Yishui, his mind unstable, was finally completely consumed by the Lingquan.

Xue Ranran shared the books and scrolls she had gathered on the Three Thousand Worlds with the Immortal Gate. The others had only heard of the Three Thousand Worlds Tower’s destructive power when it appeared, and Xue Ranran explained that to open the Three Thousand Worlds Tower, everything in the world must be sacrificed. Some doubted her analysis, but Wen Hongshan and Yan Liangyu stepped forward to confirm their belief that Xue Ranran meant no harm.

Xue Ranran continued to speculate that drawing the Demon Child into the demonic state was likely a key part of opening the Three Thousand Worlds Tower, but it wouldn’t be enough on its own. She advised all the Immortal Gate factions to keep a close eye on Shun Tian’s next moves. When Xue Ranran went to the Xuantian Sect to retrieve the Golden Fire, Wei Jiu, reluctant to offer it after Tu Jiuyuan had risked her life to obtain it, hesitated.

Xue Ranran explained the stakes involved, and Tu Jiuyuan persuaded him to prioritize the larger picture. Though Wei Jiu was unwilling, he ultimately gave it up. After Xue Ranran left, Tu Jiuyuan remarked that it was time for her to leave as well. Wei Jiu offered many precious items as gifts, but Tu Jiuyuan refused them all. He even offered half of his power within the Xuantian Sect, but she remained unmoved and left without a word.

Finally, Wei Jiu realized his feelings for Tu Jiuyuan and, overcome with sadness, overturned a table of food. Xue Ranran fully recovered her memories and, upon returning to Mount Wester, informed Zeng Yi of Su Yishui’s condition. Zeng Yi also revealed that all the former disciples were aware of Mu Qingge’s identity and were waiting for forgiveness at the foot of Mount Wester. Mu Qingge bore no ill will but was unwilling to let the disciples return to face the dangers that awaited them on Mount Wester.
