Xue Ranran was about to take Su Yu when Mu Ranwu appeared and blocked her. She took Su Yu away and had him closely guarded by palace maids, thinking that once Shun Tian learned she had saved Su Yu from Mu Qingge’s hands, he would trust her even more. Mu Qingge, in the form of a tree, fled.

After returning to Mount Wester, she continued to approach Su Yishui as the tree, but Su Yishui sensed her presence and declared that no one could control him anymore, directly driving the tree away. Xue Ranran gathered Zeng Yi and ordered him to keep an eye on Mu Ranwu’s movements. She also instructed Bai Baishan, Gao Cang, and Qiu Xier to comb through rare and strange records to find a way to eliminate the Zheying people.

As for herself, she would find a way to rescue Su Yu. Shun Tian’s strict supervision over Su Yu indicated that Su Yu was an integral part of his plan. Xue Ranran recalled once finding a book of the future in Ye Xin’s old residence. Fearing it might be used by enemies, she sealed it in the Divine Dragon Island.

Now, she was preparing to check it, as she needed to know Ye Xin’s movements in advance to stop him at the right moment. The Demon Child grew unhappy with Shun Tian's lack of transparency regarding the plan. Shun Tian explained that to open the Three Thousand World Tower, they needed to gather the sons of the Human Emperor, the Divine Dragon, and the True Demon.

Only with the blood of these three could the tower be opened, using the spiritual veins as immense energy. His biggest concern was that Xue Ranran might find the Heavenly Book, so he ordered the Demon Child to destroy it. Zhou Feihua used the body-switching talisman sent by Xue Ranran to disguise herself as a palace maid and took Su Yu away.

When Shun Tian discovered this, he immediately rushed to Divine Dragon Island and exposed that Su Yishui was never completely controlled by the Demon Child. Su Yishui no longer concealed the truth and admitted that he had destroyed the place where the Three Thousand World Tower was supposed to be placed.

Shun Tian used the soul-washing talisman and the power of the falling water inside to regain control over Su Yishui, then ordered him to go to Dragon Island and kill Xue Ranran. When Xue Ranran arrived at Divine Dragon Island, the Dragon Mother agreed to let her enter the crack to retrieve the Heavenly Book, as Xue Ranran had once saved her son. However, the Demon Child also appeared, and the two began to fight for the Heavenly Book.

Xue Ranran used the Demon Child’s power to glimpse its contents first, but the Demon Child later destroyed the book. Xue Ranran then used the Fire-Tempering Dragon Crystal Sword she had borrowed from the Dragon Mother to stab the Demon Child’s body. Su Yishui’s spiritual sea churned violently, and the Demon Child slowed his movements as he tried to extract Xue Ranran’s Golden Core. Shun Tian appeared to assist, but was suppressed by the Dragon Mother from afar.

Su Yishui’s original soul recovered and returned Xue Ranran’s Golden Core. He then personally stabbed the Fire-Tempering Dragon Crystal Sword into his own body, shattering the Golden Core. Devastated, Xue Ranran vowed to save Su Yishui. The Dragon Mother was moved by her sincerity and had Qing Luo take them both to Cuiwei Mountain. Jiu Lao Xian tested Su Yishui’s condition and found that his foundation had been completely destroyed, with all his spiritual roots scattered.

Xue Ranran was determined to save Su Yishui at any cost. Jiu Lao Xian had no choice but to use the remaining spiritual power from the golden talisman to connect the Ghost Realm with their world. Xue Ranran sent a fragment of her soul to the Ghost Realm, but when she tried to absorb the Golden Core using her magical tool, she was detected by a demonic creature.

Her fragment of a soul was weak, and after several attacks from the demon, Xue Ranran was struggling to hold on. Remembering that she could borrow the power of the heavens and the earth, she also used the demonic energy to perform a technique called "Yi Qi Po Xing He" (One Qi Breaking the Galaxy), driving the demon away and successfully extracting the entire Golden Core.

Back at Cuiwei Mountain, Jiu Lao Xian tried to inject the Golden Core into Su Yishui but discovered that it could not enter his spiritual platform. Liang Wumeng sensed that Su Yishui had fallen into a nightmare and his spiritual sea was upside down. With his own opposing power, Xue Ranran prepared to enter his spiritual sea to wake him, but Liang Wumeng stopped her and insisted that she must leave the nightmare within the time of one incense stick.
