Ou Tianqing wanted to take Tong Mo to meet his parents, but Mo Mo said she wasn't ready yet. Ou Tianqing told her that an ugly daughter-in-law will have to meet her in-laws sooner or later, which made Mo Mo upset and they started teasing each other about their looks.
While chatting with Zimo, Tong Mo learned that Zimo had given her two concert tickets but didn't give any to Shangguan Yulin. Zimo asked Tong Mo to bring her husband to the concert, but Tong Mo declined, citing Ou Tianqing's busy work schedule and her own lack of interest in concerts. Zimo understood and left.
Later, while drinking coffee, Quan Yufei came over and tried to instigate trouble between Ou Tianqing and Tong Mo by suggesting that she ask about Ou Tianqing's relationship with Zimo. Tong Mo then asked Shangguan Yulin about Zimo's emotional situation, and he told her that Zimo would tell her herself. Shangguan Yulin noticed the expensive ring on Tong Mo's hand and commented that she seemed to have money to buy such an expensive item. Tong Mo explained that it was her husband who bought it for her. Shangguan Yulin was surprised and remarked that Ou Tianqing was more romantic than he thought. As Tong Mo looked up, she saw Ou Tianqing behind her and Shangguan Yulin reminded her that her husband had arrived.
