The Nightmare Demon, knowing that his death was inevitable, destroyed his demon core, causing the entire array to start collapsing. Mu Yao, Mu Sheng, and Liu Fuyi rushed to dismantle the array, but they were completely powerless. The reason was that Mu Yao's father had sealed the demon core, and the seal was intertwined with the array itself.

Mu Yao argued that her father had sealed the demon core because he hadn't been able to kill it at the time, but she couldn't understand why, as a fourth-tier demon, it had been impossible to kill him. Luckily, Guo Xiu and the other astronomers arrived just in time to assist, and they didn’t abandon the effort.

The group worked together, but Cui Cui soon collapsed from exhaustion. More people fell as they could no longer hold on. In the critical moment, Ling Miaomiao entered the system space to unlock the Apocalypse Divine Power. The system warned her that it was a very dangerous force, but Ling Miaomiao didn’t care. She activated the Apocalypse Divine Power to help everyone stop the array, and the perilous night finally passed.

The people heard the commotion from the previous night, but the Four Heroes of the Bamboo Grove credited the achievement to the astronomers. Ling Miaomiao’s colorful inner core was rare, and the astronomers were very surprised. They even brought out a portrait of Mu Qingshi, and to their astonishment, Ling Miaomiao resembled her so closely. Ling Miaomiao had a strange dream where a mysterious statue spoke to her, saying something odd. The statue, which served as the system’s host, had gradually faded from her memory. Mu Sheng then took out a letter that Ling Miaomiao had written to Lin’s father. Embarrassed, Ling Miaomiao tried to snatch it away, but Mu Sheng had already placed it on Lin’s father’s desk.
