Song Jing was going to attend a university professor’s celebration banquet. While still conducting research at Jiang Shiyan’s company, he acted a bit arrogantly. He specifically approached Jiang Shiyan, claiming he was having dinner with Tang Yang that evening because they had taken the same professor's class during university. He even asked if Jiang Shiyan knew about it. Jiang Shiyan awkwardly replied that he had been told, but he was too busy to care at the time.

At the bank where Tang Yang worked, her assistant brought her a bouquet of flowers with a smile, saying someone had sent them to her. Tang Yang, excited and thinking the flowers were from Jiang Shiyan, happily took pictures with the bouquet and sent them to him. But when she looked at the card inside, she realized it was from someone else! In a rush, Tang Yang deleted the photos.

However, Jiang Shiyan had already seen them and asked her about the flowers. Tang Yang explained everything in detail and even offered to throw the flowers in the trash if Jiang Shiyan was upset. Jiang Shiyan didn’t mind, as he knew Tang Yang’s personality well. He figured that Song Jing had ulterior motives when they had dinner together. Jiang Shiyan specifically asked Tang Yang to take a photo of the flowers next to the trash can.

Then, he casually showed the picture to Feng Weiran in front of Song Jing, pretending not to know and saying, "Why did Tang Yang put such a big bouquet next to the trash? " Song Jing’s face immediately turned grim. Sheng Nina’s hacked account situation was quickly clarified by the authorities. They presented solid evidence to the public, proving that rumors had been spread, and Sheng Nina’s reputation was finally restored.

Her popularity surged even more, and she received more endorsement deals than before. Sheng Nina asked her assistant to find out who had helped her with the technical issues, feeling very grateful for all the support. Xiao Qin was transferred to the same branch where Tang Yang worked. He had secretly liked Tang Yang for a long time and had worked hard to get closer to her. During an evening gathering, Jiang Shiyan came to pick up Tang Yang.

Xiao Qin, testing the waters, asked if Jiang Shiyan was Tang Yang’s boyfriend. Feng Weiran laughed and said it was impossible, that they were just close friends. Xiao Qin was surprised, but Cheng Hui simply shook his head helplessly. After the rest of the bank colleagues left, it was just Tang Yang, Jiang Shiyan, Cheng Hui, and Feng Weiran.

Tang Yang and Jiang Shiyan deliberately raised their voices, asking where they should go next—maybe watch a movie or hang out at someone’s place. As they walked off arm in arm, Feng Weiran stared in shock, while Cheng Hui shook his head and remarked that the whole world knew the truth, except Feng Weiran, who was still in the dark. That night, Feng Weiran shared the “big news” he had just witnessed with Jiang Yanan.

Jiang Yanan was both excited and surprised. They immediately decided to go to Tang Yang’s place to investigate. They assumed the couple would definitely spend the night together after the movie, so they both set out at the same time.

When Jiang Shiyan and Tang Yang were questioned about when they had transitioned to a romantic relationship, the two of them began reminiscing about their sweet moments as if no one else was around, leaving Jiang Yanan and Feng Weiran feeling like they were being fed “dog food” (a playful term for being envious of others’ happiness). Zhou Mo worked at Gan Yiming’s wife’s company.

He had previously promised to secure a loan approval from Tang Yang’s bank, believing that playing the family card would ensure Tang Yang would make it happen. Unfortunately, he had miscalculated. One time, he saw Gan Yiming rush into his wife’s office, reminding her that Tang Yang hadn’t approved the loan. Gan Yiming then quickly shut the door to discuss solutions with his wife. Zhou Mo, overhearing from the shadows, realized things weren’t going as smoothly as he had imagined.
