Wei Gaoyang is playing pool when someone approaches him directly, asking for his cooperation in an investigation. Wei Gaoyang, confident in his high position and relying on the fact that Wei Gaoqian is pregnant, doesn't take the person seriously. Unexpectedly, Jiang Shaoheng appears and presents a stack of records showing frequent transactions to overseas accounts under Wei Gaoyang's name, demanding an explanation. Wei Gaoyang panics internally but insists that these are normal public relations expenses. However, the determination of whether it is normal or not lies in the investigation results.
Once Jiang Shaoheng leaves, Wei Gaoyang can't contain his internal panic. He quickly calls Wei Gaoqian, asking her to swiftly deal with any traces left by the child. Wei Gaoqian rushes to a private hospital. Seizing an opportunity when she distracts the doctor, she deletes the computer records and takes the files into her own hands. However, she didn't anticipate that Duan Zhao would disguise himself as a driver and wait for her. To make her leave the car, he purposely placed nauseating aromatherapy inside. Wei Gaoqian falls for the trick, and in that moment, Duan Zhao swaps the documents related to the child in her possession.
Jiang Shaoheng and Su Banxia, upon seeing the documents, confirm that Wei Gaoqian's child indeed has issues. They confront Wei Gaoyang, but he is not to be underestimated. Collaborating with Wei Gaoqian, they bribe the doctor responsible for Jiang Donghai's condition. This results in Jiang Donghai falling into a coma prematurely, allowing Wei Gaoqian and her unborn child to inherit the Jiang family group.
