Yun Han took some time to recover. He found out from his men that Qing Le was missing, and all the items in his room were taken. This made him wonder if it was done by the Crown Prince or his lord. Princess Leyang's carriage was attracting attention from the people, and her followers wanted to whip the commoners. Fortunately, Yan Wei appeared and stopped them. When Princess Leyang heard that Yan Wei was from Wei Mingyue, she became more furious. She wanted her men to teach Yan Wei a lesson so she could recover from the humiliation she suffered at the hands of Wei Mingyue. At that critical moment, Hua Liuli appeared and confronted the Princess. Her followers were caught beating the commoners, and Hua Liuli asked what the law in Jin Kingdom says about this. The Princess was angry and embarrassed when Ji Yuansu appeared and stood with Hua Liuli's group.
To defuse the situation, Princess Leyang asked her daughter Xie Yao to come down and see her "prince" that she mentioned earlier. Hua Liuli and Yan Wei noticed that Xie Yao was a cunning person. Princess Leyang was furious and expressed her anger towards Xie Yao. She revealed that the girl they met earlier was Hua Liuli, the daughter of Wei Mingyue. Ji Yuansu went to the palace and persuaded the emperor not to betroth him to Xie Yao. He also told the emperor that he had feelings for Hua Liuli. The emperor agreed and promised not to interfere. Du Xiuying was taking care of the sick Du Taishi at home when she heard Yun Han's whistle. Yun Han gave her several paintings, emphasizing that there was one in which he wanted her to look at when he left. Pei Jihuai reported to the crown prince about Qing Le's use of medicine to control Yun Han. Ji Yuansu wants to wait for Yun Han to confess on his own, but Pei Jihuai was impatient.
Princess Leyang and Princess Shun An were arguing in the jewelry store. Princess Shun An had always been bullied by Princess Leyang. Hua Liuli happened to arrive and designed a plan to make Princess Shun An appear helpless. Princess Leyang was scolded by the emperor, and Princess Shun An was given the title of "Long Princess" while Hua Liuli was rewarded the title of "Fushou County Princess".
